Falling expectations

Hannes grunted. 'Can we just... Not? I don't like this even one bit,' he mumbled.
Kate's smirk grew bigger. 'That's why.'
'It's... Mister Collins... If I realllyyy had to choose, he would be the least hated,' he mumbled softer than usual.

That was the moment the smirk went off of Kate's face and she placed her good leg in the kicking position again. She quickly looked at Ronan too before she turned to Hannes again.

Hannes gasped for air and Kate saw him biting on his hands as tears streamed down his chin. She thought she was safe now so she relaxed a bit again.

So he gathered all of his strenghts for one mighty fkng punch but as soon as he raised his fist he flinged in the pain and fkng shouted out more swearwords per second then normal

Hannes flinched and Kate relaxed again. Then she saw him looking at her leg and Kate kinda knew what he was going to do now. When she saw him raising his fist she knew for sure but she just waited for it to come to give him a fucking kick back. But then he flinched again and shouted out more swearwords she had ever heard him say.
'I must say Hannes, I'm impressed by the amount of swearwords you have in your vocabulary,' she said as she relaxed against the door, her good leg still in the kicking position though.
