  She had said goodbye to her grandma, packed her stuff and she was now walking to the car. She wasn't as fast as before, when they came here. On the contrary, she was pretty slow and very, very silent. She thought about what her grandma had said and since she met Ronan again she hadn't said a word to him, except the absolute need.
  When she arrived at the car, Ronan already was in the drivers seat, starting the car. She sighed as she sat herself on the passengers seat and dumped her bag on the back seat. She quickly looked at Ronan but looked away just as fast, not daring to look him in the eyes. She sighed frustrated.

  She wanted to go to her home though, and that was the other way than Westwood. She needed to go there. So she scraped her throat and said: 'Can we go to my house?' Her voice was small. If you didn't see it was her, you wouldn't know if it was Kate. 'I eh... My grandma left something for me... Can we pick it up, please?' she asked, still looking down.

  'Yeah, sure why not, I think Dylan can handle it a bit longer,' Ronan said.
  Kate sighed out the breath she'd been holding without knowing and nodded. 'O-Okay... Nice...' she said as she said the addres of the house. After that she looked out of the window and said nothing else. She felt her chest tighten a bit at the realization. Ronan was her fucking dad! And she sat with him in the car now and he didn't know. And she was about to go to her house, where all the evidence will be.
  How the fuck am I going to tell him this?!
  She breathed in and out deeply one time, trying to control her breathing.
  Just... Just relax...'

  'Is everything alright?' Ronan asked.
  Kate was brought out of her thoughts and quickly looked at him. She nodded as she looked away again. 'Y-Yeah, I'm fine,' she said. 'Totally. Why wouldn't I be?' she kinda laughed.
  Oh, the awkwardness...
  She thought about how she could say it best. Like, was it wise to say it now? Or at the house? Or if she had found all the evidence and then show him? She didn't know.

  'Cause you're acting weirdly,' he frowned. 'Or better said awkwardly.'
  Kate bit her lip. 'Well, eh..' she swallowed the big lump in her throat away. 'My grandma... I.. I am, eh... fuck,' she sighed. 'Have you... Have you ever... Eh... Well...' She rolled her eyes at herself and sighed heavily. 'I'm sorry, it's just that... That...'

  'I have been with someone called Ellie yeah,' he said, a bit weirded out.
  'Oh shit,' Kate said, trying to hold her breath steady. She breathed in deeply again and forced herself to be calm. 'My eh... My mother was named Ellie...' she eventually said.

  'Well it's a beautiful name,' he said as they drove in the street her house was.
  Kate shook her head. 'No, you don't understand. My mothers name was Ellie. You were with a girl named Ellie!' she said, hoping he would understand.

  Ronan frowned as he stuffed his mouth full with tictacs. 'So?' he said, his mouth full.
  Kate groaned. 'Don't you understand? It's... It's connected!' she exclaimed, looking at him now. 'You... My mothers name was Ellie, your wife was too. Or ex-wife, whatever. She got a baby, remember?' she tried to explain it him without really telling because oh boi was this awkward.

  Ronan then smiled. 'OOOOOH you're Ellie's and Marvins kid! Niceeee, your father was the best!'
  Kate looked at him. 'nO!' she exclaimed, shaking her head. 'You don't understand! I'm not... He's not my father, okay!' she sighed. It was so weird to say that. She never really cared about her parents because she lost them when she was very young. But Marvin always was her father. And suddenly that isn't true. 'You... You fucked my mom okay!' she eventually said, her brows in a frown and lips parted slightly, breathing heavily. 'Y-You... You are my... my dad...' she sighed and licked her dry lips, leaning backwards again. Saying that was weird. Hearing it was weird, but saying it was far more weird.
