Kate threw her cigarette away with a sigh. Talk with the mentor, great. Not. She packed her backpack and walked inside the school again. She walked slower than normal, totally not wanting this talk. She thought about not going but then she would get annoying shit and she didn't want that. Plus, she somehow, from deep inside, hoped he would pick up something from what was going on with her. But she knew he wouldn't. It was Nick. And if even her own father the pedagogue school guidence counselor thing didn't notice anything she was sure Nick wouldn't aswell.
With a sigh Kate opened the door, without knocking. She closed the door behind her and sat down on the chair, dropping her backpack next to her on the ground. She looked at her mentor, Nick de Jong, with the most done expression on her face she could get for this bullshit.

He sighed and grabbed she assumed her files. 'Ah hello there mrs West nice you still showed up today, was almost afraid you would come next year,' he said cynically.
'Let's hope not.' She really hoped she would get another mentor next year, even though that probably would be Friedrich, so yeah rather not. They were all shit. Except mister Collins, he was allright. But she didn't know if he was already qualified enough to be a mentor.

Kate was silent for some seconds. 'Fine.' She wasn't. But she didn't want to talk with him about it. As if he would know what she's going through. She just wanted it to be over and then she could continue forgetting about it and pushing herself over it.

He nodded. 'Allright... How are things between Sophie and Jess going?' he asked as he looked up again.
Kate shrugged. 'Same as ever.' The ginger still slept in Ronans office, which was basically her dorm now. She didn't have contact with the two anymore, or at least not friendly or wanted contact from her side. She had been avoiding the two more since the things with Clint happened. She knew they knew, or at least could know and she wanted to stay away from that risk of them knowing anything more about her.
