oh it's such a romantic day

  She nervously looked around café and sighed deeply at the sigh of so many people. She then turned her gaze to the boi in front of her and smiled slightly. Feliciano had asked her out drinking coffee and she had accepted. Joli didn't knew if it was a good decision or not, but she couldn't turn back now. The girl took her coffee, forcing her hands to stop shaking, making it shake more of course, as she carefully took a sip.

Feliciano nervously sniffed at the bouquet of red roses he bought her. He wasn't good at this dating thing, at all. But he'd rather fake it than let her know that, though! He fumbled with the ribbon that kept the flowers together, took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

But after that moment, he completely lost his breath.

She sat there, coffee in hand, looking out of the window. His love wore a beautiful sweater that made her even more hugable than she already was. Her hair was in a simple braid, which he loved. What didn't he love? She was stunning. She was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Honestly, he would give up pasta to be with her. He just needed to be with her, like some kind of instinct that was kicking in. He just couldn't stop thinking about her.

Hands sweating, he walked up to her table with the stupidest grin he ever had had on his face, but he couldn't get it off for some reason. He slid in the chair opposite to her, whispering "hey ragazza," before taking her hand to kiss it.

  Joli then noticed Feli sitting opposite of her. She looked at him and her heart skipped a beat. He was so freaking cute, oh my god.
  'Hey ragazza,' he whispered before taking her hand to kiss it.
  Joli blushed furiously. 'H-Hi,' she said nervously while smiling brightly, as she couldn't control it. How could you not control your smile with such a cute boi around, though? There was still a voice saying in her head that this was a very stupid idea. Namely, the voice in her head that had been there the last couple of months but, she couldn't help not falling for him. The girl noticed the bouquet of red roses and her heart beated faster. Was that even biological possible though? Oh well, it didn't matter because fucking Feliciano Vargas asked her out and oh boi how could she ever survive this day without fainting from anxiety and cuteness from the boi?

The girl smiled nervously, making Feliciano giggle like an eight-year-old girl. 'H-Hi,' His knees went weak, he sat down, intoxicated by her smile. "Uh-uhm, this is for, uhm, you." He swallowed, nervously trying not to stare too much. "S-so, uh," he stopped, breath catching in this throat. He nervously looked over at a waiter, trying to get their attention.

  He sat down. 'Uh-uhm, this is for, uhm, you.'
  Joli smiled brightly as she looked at the roses. 'They're beautiful.' She saw him nervously swallowing and she was kinda happy she wasn't the only one being so nervous.
  'S-so, uh,' he stopped, breath catching to his throat. He nervously looked around for a waiter, trying to get their attention.
  Joli couldn't help to not stare at him, as if she was trying to mesmerize his face. Maybe she was. She noticed how he was so nervous and was actually surprised by this. He didn't look nervous when he walked into the kitchen, criticizing her pasta. And all the other times she watched him. Suddenly there was this nervous boi with roses, not being able to complete full sentences without flaws. She liked it though. It showed character.

God, she must think he's lame. Step up your game, man. Step it upp! Before he could ruin anything, thankfully, the waiter showed up. "Uh, for me a caramel latté, and for her a-?" He looked at her, one eyebrow raised. Ahh, she was so pretty. He just couldn't help but get lost in her eyes. They reminded her of ... meatballs in pasta. She sure was as tasty as them.

  The waiter showed up. She didn't pay them a single glance. Her eyes were on him and only him. A small smile formed her lips as she took in every bit of his nervous face.
  'Uh, for me a caramel latté, and for her a-?' He looked at her, one eyebrow raised.
  She blushed and smiled some more, not noticing he asked something. Eventually she noticed them waiting and blinked as she shook herself out of her trance. 'I uh, sorry, uhm...' she thought about what she would have. 'An uh, eh, i-ice tea, p-please,' she answered as she shortly looked at the waiter. Her cheeks turned red from embarrassement and she looked down, hoping she could hide it.

She was staring at him for a long time. He was almost sinking into it as well when Joli started talking. 'I uh, sorry, uhm...' He calmly put his hand on top of hers and smiled reassuringly. "Take your time, ragazza." She thought about what she would have, and honestly, that was the cutest thing he had ever seen. 'An uh, eh, i-ice tea, p-please,' He bit his lip, trying to come back into the real world. But she was his world! So that was kinda hard! "wow you're pretty." He muttered under his breath, barely audible. He blushed, realising his hand was still on hers. Feliciano quickly put it on his lap, scared of over touching and potentially scaring the girl away.

  She felt his hand on hers. First it gave her more anxiety, but when she heard his sweet words it calmed her soon enough.
  'Wow you're pretty,' he muttered under his breath. She barely heard him. She looked up as he pulled his hand away. She was a bit sad about that loss. 'W-what?' she asked him while blushing even more. She didn't know if she had heard him well.

Joli started blushing even more, making him blush as well. 'W-what?' Feliciano looked at her in surprise. She wasn't supposed to hear that. "U-uh, nothing," He took a deep breath, preparing himself for saying something when a girl walked up to him and threw her drink in his face. "You asshole!" The girl shouted at him, before running off, crying. Feliciano was flustered. He didn't even know this girl? He turned to Joli. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what that was," He blushed. "I never met that girl."

  'U-uh, nothing.' He took a deep breath.
  Joli just nodded, not thinking much of it. She was used to hearing things people didn't meant.
  It looked like he was about to say something but before he could a girl walked up to them and threw a drink in Feli's face. 'You asshole!' The girl shouted before running off, crying. Joli was surpised and needed to process what was happening. Feli turned to her. 'I-I'm sorry, I don't know what that was,' he blushed. 'I never met that girl.'
  Joli was just speechless. She looked at the door where the girl ran out and to Feli, covered in drink. She didn't knoe what it was, but it seemed like he did know that girl. 'D-did you... Did you two..?' She started to ask, hoping it wasn't true.

The beautiful girl in front of him looked speechless. He'd be too. 'D-did you... Did you two..?' Feli tilted his head. "Did we what?" It broke his heart to see her like this. Even though this was their first date, he just wanted her to be happy. And now she was just sad and surprised. "But no, like I told you, I never even met that girl." He stood up and walked towards the toilets. "I'm gonna go fresh up. Be right back." He blew a flirty kiss in her direction and headed off, hating himself deeply right now.

  Feli tilted his head. 'Did we what?'
  She wanted to say something, but couldn't quite find the words. She was just speechless and tried to think about what now, but her mind was a mess.
  'But no, like I told you, I never even met that girl.' He stood up and walked towards the toilets. 'I'm gonna go fresh up. Be right back.' He blew a flirty kiss in her direction and headed off.
  Joli didn't react to it and looked down at the table. She fiddled with her hands, picking some skin off from the flesh around her nails.
  He is lying.
  She sighed deeply and looked up a bit, sniffing already as she shook her head.
  He is lying, he doesn't love you. No one loves you.
  'S-Stop. Just stop,' Joli muttered softly under her breath.
  Just give up already. He is never gonna love you. No one ever will. You won't be loved and everyone knows that.
  She sniffed and stood up. The voice was right. He didn't love her. How stupid of her to think that. She grabbed her coat and bag and walked out of the café while fastly wiping away some tears. She felt so stupid. How could she fall for this? Again? He was just playing with her. Like all those others.

Feli pounded his head against the wall. How. Was. He. So. Stupid?! The Italian quickly threw some water in his face and looked at his reflection in the mirror. He wasn't worth her damn attention. She was way too nice and pretty and smart for him. He grunted. Another thing he screwed up. He didn't even know the damn girl! He took a few minutes to calm down and walked to their booth again. But he stopped in his tracks. She wasn't there anymore. Feli ran out of the café as fast as he could, to try and make things right. He had to.
