Dmitri stared at her, hoping she would get it. 'Eh...' His heart sunk. God, this was harder than he expected. "It's okay if you don't-" She then took the paper and pulled it towards her. Kate stared at it, Dmitri's anxiety grew with the second. Suddenly, it looked like something had clicked. A smile grew on her face, making him giggle a bit. 'Hey, I think I got it!' The Russian couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. She pointed at the paper again. 'If you do that... And then this... Then you get the answer, right?' Dmitri sigh-smiled and turned the paper towards him a bit. "Exactly." He then pointed at the next equation. "Could you try to do this one yourself? Use the same steps!"

  Kate nodded and turned to paper to her again. She looked at it and solved it step for step, writing it down on the paper so it would be easier for her. It took some time and thought, but eventually she was done. She smiled and looked at the boi again, turning the paper to him. 'Is this right?' she asked him. Some numbers were switched with eachother and it was pretty messy and all, but Kate didn't seem to notice.

She was writing down stuff for a couple of minutes, giving him the opportunity to stare at her for a while. Her long, red hair, her hand writing stuff down from time to time, her eyes darting to the paper and back to her notebook... She was almost like an angel in his eyes. She then turned the paper to him with hopeful eyes. 'Is this right?' Dmitri looked at it. It was really messy, and the numbers were switched a couple of times. "Uhm," he started, thinking how to phrase it. "Well, your steps are correct, but your work is really messy and I think you messed up a bit because of that." He pointed at places where numbers were switched. "Here, for example, you switched the numbers." He looked at her again.

  Kate sighed deeply and looked at the numbers. They were indeed switched, something that happened more, which costs her points on tests. 'Yeah, that... Happens,' she said a bit sad with a shrug and a small wave of her hand as if to wave it away. 'It sucks. Numbers are just so fucking confusing, I swear,' she sighed. 'I don't get how people just... Plus, he was here to help her right? He better help then.

Dmitri paused for a moment. "Then you have to add the 6. That's 26. But! It wasn't 16+10, it was 16+9." He coughed a bit. "So, 26 minus one is 25."

Kate looked at him with a blanc expression on her face. She tried to piece it together in her mind though, but she failed. 'What.'

She looked at him like a llama that's about to spit. Confused, and slightly annoyed, but mostly just blank. 'What.' He sighed. This was harder than he had initially thought. He was just... sorta alone with his thoughts? Luckily that American, Jess 'adopted' him. He didn't really know what she wanted, but he was fine with her being in his presence. It was just that he liked someone else better. And that someone was in front of him right now.

  Kate looked up and was confused for a moment. 'Oh, uh.' She realized he wanted to know the answer. But what was the answer... She looked at the paper, counted on her fingers and paused to check if she really did what she needed to do. Eventually she thought she got it. 'Twentyfive...?'

The girl in front of him counted on her fingers. It was pretty cute to watch her, her touching her fingers one by one, staring at them with eyes lost in thought. He sighed contently. After a while, she looked at him with the same look, confused and hoping it's the right answer. 'Twentyfive...?' Dmitri grinned and clasped his hands together in excitement. "Perfect!" He smiled widely. "Do you want to take a break or do the next one?" He bit his lip, full of hope. "Jess told me about a great pizza place in Warlington-"

  Kate shook her head and leaned back in her chair, grabbing another marshmallow. 'Nah, I've done enough of this shit today,' she said while roasting it and then eating it.

  The ginger looked up. Was he asking her out right now? She raised a brow as she ate the marshmallow. Then figured pizza sounded nice and that it couldn't hurt her in any way. She smirked and nodded. 'Sounds fun.' She stood up and put her stuff in her bag before grabbing her crutches again. She sighed. Now she had to walk to Warlington with these things. But oh well, she craved pizza now and it would be nice to be out of this school again. She looked at Dmitri. 'Ya coming?'

His hands leaked more bodily fluids than his entire body after a football match. Disgusting, but true.
The redhead in front of him smirked and got up from her seat. 'Sounds fun.' She started putting her books in her bag and grabbed her crutches. He saw her struggling a bit and sighing. Dmitri quickly thought of something. If he drove her, she would have no choice but to go back with him as well... 'Ya coming?' He hadn't noticed that he was staring at the floor. "Uhm,' he took his bag swiftly. "I-I'll drive." The somewhat intimidating Russian was never this flustered, but here he was. Dmitri walked past her, swallowing his nerves. "Let's go!"

'You drive? Oh my god, bless.' Dmitri gave an awkward smile. "Come on!" He took his phone and texted Jess. i go eat pizza with kate. He pressed send and looked at Kate. "Uhm, follow me?" He made sure he was walking at the same speed Kate was, so she wouldnt feel pressured to walk faster.
