SURPRISE

  She just got to know when his birthday was and it was fucking today, holy shit. Kate fucking sacrificed her lunchbreak to have time for this. The girl quickly stole some garlands and a confetti popper from Jess and decorated the office with it. When she was done she looked around with a pleasing look. Kate then grabbed a confetti popper and hid behind the couch, waiting for Ronan to return from the lunchbreak.

  Kate heard the door open and waited for his reaction.
  'WHAT the ACTuAL FUCK!?' He shouted.
  Kate smirked and jumped from behind the couch, popping the confetti. 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' she said with a big ass smile, watching his reaction.

  Ronan blinked. 'Okayyy well pack your stuff we're going to Ireland,' he said as he picked up big old Garfield.
  Kate's smile dissapeared. 'What?' she said confused. 'Are you fucking kidding me? Aren't you happy?' she asked. 'I did this all for you, you know. I fucking offered my lunch for this. And now you say we're going to fucking Ireland, why the fuck are we going there?' she asked while throwing the confetti popper on the couch, a bit dissapointed with his reaction.

  Ronan sighed. 'Thanks and I did like it but we don't have a lot of time and plus you should be thanking me for the two days off you get now,' he told her while throwing Garfield in a box.
  Kate sighed deeply. 'And why are we going to Ireland? Isn't England good enough for you?' she asked him while walking from behind the couch, crossing her arms.

  ''Cause we are going to my family for Christmas and my birthday... Remember,' he told her while closing the box.
  Kate frowned. 'Wait, what? Now?' she said as realisation hit. A smile appeared on her face again. 'Oh my God, really? Holy shit... But yeah, I'll pack my stuff, eh...' she paused for a moment, looking around her. 'What do I need, actually? Do they know I'm coming too? Like... Is there even a place for me to sleep?' she asked, starting to get a bit nervous at the thought she was going to see her fucking family for the first time in her life.

  'Yeh yeh don't worry just... Let me call Dylan,' he said as he grabbed his phone.
  Kate nodded and turned around, starting to pack her stuff. Most of it was now laying here because she now basically lived here, but she needed to go grab things in her dorm too. She didn't knew if she needed to pack some graffiti too, but eventually she did. She didn't knew how the family was and if she had the chance to do something, but maybe she got the chance and it would be a shame to not leave something from her there. Also her sketchbook and shit, of course, skateboard, duh.

  Dylan was just worrying about the grades. Or better said, the students. Because it were the students who caused these grades, and it was not good. He sighed deeply while biting his lip as he crossed the answer. He hated giving his students bad grades. It meant he didn't teach them well. Not that he was too proud to admit or something, he just wanted to teach well enough for the students to understand. And he clearly didn't. He decided to talk about it the next class.
  Suddenly his phone rang and Dylan jumped up. He sighed as he grabbed his phone, seeing it was Ronan who called. He answered it a bit nervous.
  'Hey Ronan, what can I do for you?' he asked.

  'Hey yeh, well you kind of have to take over my shift again, is that okay with you?' Ronan asked.
  'Yeah, yeah, of course,' Dylan reacted. 'You can count on me. Wait, how long are you away?' he asked, knowing it was almost Christmas and that he knew Ronan was away. Dylan himself was away too, so he couldn't do his shifts then.
