lil monsters (dylan)

  Dylan jumped when he heard the loud knocking on the door. He was happy he didn't shift. He wiped his hands off on his apron as he walked to the front door to open it. He smiled widely as he saw Nick.
  'Nick! Hey, what are you doing here?' he asked him. In the kitchen the alarm went off and that was the sign the cake was done. 'Oh, the cake! Come on in, come on in,' he invited Nick as he walked back into the house to get the cake out of the oven. He smiled proudly when he saw how well it was done. It wasn't everyday he baked something, but today he thought he'd surprise Jodie when she would come home from work.
  'Do you want some cake?' he asked Nick with a smile as he cut off a small piece for himself to try it out.

  The Dutchman nodded. 'Yeah of course why not?' he said smiling a little as he sat down on a chair. Dylan smiled and cut off a piece for Nick. 'Oh, no smoking here Nick,' he said as he saw the cigarettes. He didn't want his house to smell like smoke. 'And? What do you think?' he asked. He thought the cake was pretty well done. It wasn't everyday he baked cakes so he was pretty proud of himself. He hoped Jodie would like it too.
