He sighed as he losened the leech a little, he hated those things, obviously. Gave way too much restrictment to the dogs and ofcourse it's helpfull for the people but poor doggos. He however didn't need one for duke, the German shepherd perfectly walked besides him a smile on it's face as he let his tongue fall out in absolute contentment with the long walk they had taken together. Itwas his dad that wanted him to leech his friend, Peter Furgenson, police chief of police department Warlingham taking his role as example way too seriously, no one would expect a past of cheating and lying in this guy, with all his charms and calmness. The scott sighed a little, if only people would know. He loved his dad however, don't get me wrong, it was his dad and through the strictness and strong supervision he could see the guy did out of care, or atleast he hoped he did but aslong as that wasnt proven wrong, so it would be. It was weekend, saturday to be exact and as promise he spend the weekends at home even though most of his out of school was spend at home as his dad didn't believe in making homework at school and the whole being on you're own thing didn't really lie good in his mind but the boy didn't really know anything different from this life so just followed, being happy in his small comfort bubble of not having the chance to make decision whatshoever, aslong as u do what's told you'll always end up good, that was his phylosophy. Slowly he began to head home, only to realize he was locked out again. The boy huffed, too late...ofcourse. his dad was a punctional guy, and at 8 exact he heads to work, locking the door behind him with the only two keys the house had. Eric sighed nervously as he realized the scotman wouldn't be too happy with him being too late...

Dylan opened the kitchen cabinet, only to see they were out of sugar. He sighed a little, closing the cabinet again. He didn't want to bother Jodie with having to go to the grocery store right out of work, so the Canadian decided he'd go to his good friend Jerry Terrel. He lived across the street from them and they occasionally meet eachother. He smiled as he grabbed his keys and headed out of the door. He saw movement in the corner of his eyes so naturally he looked at it and there was his neighbour, Eric Furgenson. He became a student at Westwood just this year. Dylan smiled at him and nodded. He didn't wanted it to make it any more awkward for the boi to have his teacher as neighbour than it already was, so he decided not to talk or anything.

Suddenly he heard someone come, praying it was his dad heading towards the door to open it, but quickly he sensed the sounds came from his neighbors, mister collins clearly regognicable by the fast paste of the guys heartbeat, like he was always having a heart attack. But sure enough thee his mentor was, nodding at him with a smile. Eric smiled through the thic layer of stress on his face " uh...sir" he said nervously stumbling on his words " did you happen to see my dad leave a few minutes ago or-" he smiled a little hopefull as his eyes were filled with worry, duke's tail between its legs sensing the stress of his friend easily

'Uh... sir,' Eric suddenly said.
Dylan turned to him, seeing he was nervous. He frowned a little. Why would he be nervous? What's wrong?
'Did you happen to see my dad leave a few minutes ago or-' he smiled a little, his eyes full with worry. Dylan could see his dog had his tail between its legs. He must be very nervous then.
'Uh... I thought he left for work 5 minutes ago, why?'

'Uh... I thought he left for work 5 minutes ago, why?' the canadian anwsered, worry noticable in the guy's posture. Eric sighed as he leaned agaist the door, looking down for a moment to collect some thoughts before anwsering again " oh..then i'm too late i guess" he mumbled as he slided down to sit down on the small stairstep thingy that formed the step up to the front door, duke quickly walking up to sniff his face, wich he anwsered with a quick pet over the dogs back pushing it down a little to indicate it could sit down wich it did and continued to pet to try and calm the worried shepherd down a little.

Eric sighed as he leaned against the door, looking down for a moment. 'Oh... Then I'm too late I guess,' he mumbled before he slid down to sit down.
Dylan frowned. 'What do you mean you're too late? Can't you go inside?' He was always a bit skeptical about Peters way of raising kids and how strict it all went. Jodie wasn't fond with it aswell. He knew that when they finally got kids they wouldn't be so strict.

The scott nodded a little " too late is too late" he said while playing with duke's long and thic fur to kinda distract himself from all the thoughts that went through his head. " he's going to be soo pissed oh god" he said with a deep sigh, rubbing his face pushing up his glasses a little before looking at the teacher with a small stressed out smile " oh well" he said more to try to calm himself down a little than really meaning it as he quickly looked back at the ground, chewing on the laces of his hoodie to try and find some sort of stress relief trying to accept his death that afternoon 5 pm..if peter didn't overwork again atleast

He nodded a little. 'Too late is too late,' he said while playing with his dogs hair. 'He's going to be soo pissed oh god,' he said with a deep sigh.
Dylan sighed too. Poor boi.
Eric pushed up his glasses a little and looked up with a stressed out smile. 'Oh well,' he said and chewed on the laces of his hoodie.
The Canadian thought for a moment. 'And you don't have a spare key anywhere?' he asked. 'Or maybe you can go to the police station to ask for the key?'

Eric looked at him " he do get even more pissed if i bother him at work....but thanks for the suggestion" he said with a forced smile, zippering up his coat to protec himself from the cold november winds and even though he loved the outdoors, especially in autumn he wasn't in the mood to stay out here, especially cause of the fair amount of homework he promised to make for the day wich he now probsbly had to do in the few hours he had after dinner. " but it's alright sir, i got duke to keep me company" he mumbled while huggin the massive fluffy shepherd dog a little " just gotta wait it out for a little while" 9 hours.

'He do get even more pissed if I bother him at work... But thanks for the suggestion,' he said with a forced smile. 'But it's allright sir, I got Duke to keep me company,' he mumbled while hugging the biggo floof. 'Just gotta wait it out for a little while.'
Dylan sighed. He knew a little while wasn't a little while, especially not with Peter, who over worked a lot. And he knew this wasn't usual, but he wasn't anyway and he just couldn't let the poor boi wait outside in the cold like that. 'You know... You can come inside by me,' he suggested. 'It's better than waiting in the cold like this.'

" you you really don't have to sir, don't want to be a bother" he anwsered " it's your weekend too afterall" he chuckled a little , the guy deserved that two day break the most out of all teachers in his opinion, he really worked hard for his students well being and he could sence it stressed the guy out a lot, poor guy, it would be harsh to take away the only two days of rest the guy had every week

Eric looked up and he could see he was taken aback by the question. He could understand why. 'Oh uh,' he stumbled over his words. 'You you really don't have to sir, don't want to be a bother,' he answered. 'It's your weekend too afterall,' he chuckled a little.
'Oh it's not a problem. You'll go back home before dinner and my wife isn't home yet either.' He couldn't help to smile as a little blush appeared on his cheeks. He couldn't believe he could call her his wife now. It still felt so surreal but so good. 'I just have to borrow some sugar from a neighbour but then we can head inside, it's getting cold already,' he smiled.

'Oh it's not a problem. You'll go back home before dinner and my wife isn't home yet either.'[i] the teacher argued. He smiled a little as he heard his heart beat faster at the word wife, it was cute how even a word so small could mean so much to a guy. He still remembered how he passed out at the alter and how not surprised everyone was at it, even remembering Abel's hard laugh as everyone worried the guy might have had an heart attack. 'I just have to borrow some sugar from a neighbour but then we can head inside, it's getting cold already,' he smiled. Eric sighed and nodded as the cold really began to be a bother now " a a alright " he agreed with a nod 2 shouldn't you as canadian be used to the cold though?" he asked daringly a really small smirk on the rebel's face oof such rebel.

Eric nodded. 'A-a-allright,' he agreed.
Dylan smiled. He was happy he agreed to come inside.

Dylan looked and chuckled a little. 'Oh I am,' as he was indeed walking around with short sleeves. 'But you aren't.' He smiled and walked past the street, ringing Jerry's door and asking for sugar, which he of course got because they were good friends and good friends give eachother sugar. He headed back to his house and signed for Eric to follow him as he opened the front door, stepping inside.

Dylan looked and chuckled a little. 'Oh I am,' as he was indeed walking around with short sleeves. 'But you aren't.' he said before walking over to the other side of the street .Eric on his part patiently waited for the guy's return, watching him talk with the darker toned guy that lived across the street trying not to eavesdrop but he really couldn't stop it. He liked Jerry, he was a fun an nice guy and overall the copy and paste of a typical neighbour you wish you'd have. It didn't take the Canadian long before returning however and within a few minutes he was already opening the front door signing for the boy to follow, wich he fcourse did rather quickly to avoid the cold, duke following closely behind him. He looked around for a little while with a smile on his face " thank you" he said with a smile as the warmth greeted his stone cold face " it's indeed warmer in here" he chuckled a little ...
