Falling leaves ( Joli Favre)

He took a deep breath, slowly waking up in the thin morning air as he walked throughthe thick stroke of forest that devided the beach from the village. The german looked around him, he absolutely loved it, the pine trees, the trees the soft sound of life around him. It reminded him of the good old time back in germany, well, back in the forest near munich, the time he lived with his granparents, the best time of his life. He felt how the small strokes of sunlight that fell through the thick layer of bare tree brenches lightened up his pale freckled face as he sat down on a bench that was there for the few hickers that liked to hike through these regions and it gave him the opportunity to think in the calmness around him. It reminded him alot of how much he hated the school and everyone there. He let out a deep sight as closed hia azel coloured eyes he still thought about it, everything that had happened before summber vacation and still felt the guilt coming up everytime he had the chance to think about it, which was every time he wasn't drunk or angry...

  Joli was in the forest for like the hundredth time this week. She loved it, and so did Cherie. She got to know a lot of more animals here than in the schoolyard. She can never say she doesn't have friends now. Maybe no human friends, but does it matter? Friends are friends, right?
  She walked with the deer Lily on a small path through the forest. Cherie sat on Lily's back. The girl just laughed about something Lily had said when she pushed away some bushes. She looked behind her for a moment with a smile on her face. She just wanted to say something when she noticed something changing in Lily's behaviour. The French girl frowned and looked back again, seeing Hannes sitting on a bench meant for hikers.
  'What is he doing here?' she mumbled, more to herself than anyone else. She wanted to turn around but Hannes already saw her.

  'What the fuck are you lookin at?' he asked with a deep sigh.
  Joli opened her mouth, looked around to Lily and Cherie for a moment before looking back and shrugging. 'At you, obviously,' she said. 'Seriously, you were the last person I would have expected in the forest. Well... That's not really true... But one of the last,' she told him with a small chuckle.

  He raised his brows. 'Really? Well... It's full of surprises then,' he mumbled, not a sign of happiness nor sadness on his face.
  Joli smiled a bit awkwardly and nodded.
  'I see you made a friend?' he said, slightly narrowing his eyes.
  Her face lighted up the moment he said that. 'Ah, yes!' she said happily. 'This is Lily,' she introduced the deer. 'Lily, this is Hannes,' she introduced Hannes to Lily. She had told them about Hannes but with a single look she made clear she didn't want him to know that and that they should be nice.

Hannes blinked " you know, i used to hate deer" he told her calmly as he looked at the ground for a moment "Haerder to kill than a duck or pigeon" he said "i have never been able to hit one they're to fucking fast" he said as he stared at the animal annoyance in his eyes "Oh well"

  Joli stared at him for a moment, horror and disgust noticeable in her whole face. She noticed movement from Lily and Cherie but she held up her hand. She didn't want any trouble. 'Ah...' she didn't knew what to say else though. 'Ehm... Well... What are you doing here, actually?' she asked, trying to change the subject.

'Ah...' hannes llooked up at her, pls walk away pls walk away 'Ehm... Well... What are you doing here, actually?' she asked. well..shit. He sights " i like being in the forest, brings up memories you know" he said as he looked around him " grew up in one" he added as he looked away as he realized how much he mikssed that place

  Joli nodded understanding. 'Ah yeah. Nostalgia is a weird thing...' Her past wasn't that great so most nostalgia moments weren't very peaceful, but when it was, she enjoyed every bit of it. It was mostly a mix when it was a good one though. Playing the guitar, for example. It gave her a feeling of peace,
but underneath that the sadness she had felt during those days.
