Dick

  With a sigh leaned Kate against the stone wall, taking a long drag of her cigarette. She hugged herself with one arm due the cold. She held the other one near her mouth, obviously. She thought back at class today, how Nick had yelled at her. Normally it wouldn't have been a problem, although it's very weird he yelled. He never yelled. But that's not the point. The point was how much she flinched when he did that. She wasn't really embarrassed that it happened in class, she knew she fucked up, it was jus the moment. He yelled, she flinched because she relived it all again. It wasn't in a similair situation as with Clint, but still.
  Suddenly she noticed someone coming her way. She looked up and saw it was Nick. She sighed deep and took another drag, looking away from the teacher.

  She saw Nick grabbing a cigarette aswell. He lit it before taking a huge ass drag. 'Well... Hello there.'
  Kate rolled her eyes but kept looking for her. 'Hi. What do you want?' she asked.

  Nick sighed. 'To apologize for shouting at you,' he said calmly. 'I shouldn't have done that and I'm sorry.'
  Kate looked at him. Honestly, she didn't expected an apology. 'It's okay,' she shrugged. 'Things happen...' She thought back at the times Clint would yell at her. 'I guess it happens everyone one time. You didn't do it on purpose. I think...' She looked away again, taking another drag of her cigarette.

  'Of course it wasn't, I would never yell at kids that's a sad thing to do, believe me, I know all about it,' he said, taking a drag.
  Kate glanced at him. 'You do?' she asked.

Kate glanced at him. 'You do?' she asked. He nodded "Absolutely, used to have a dick for  stephfather that thought it was okay too come into my home, smoke and sniffing wathever  he could get and yell and beat my sister and me..." he said a small smile on his face remembering every argument he had with the guy, it used to effect him..back then..but these day's he didn't care for it as much as it used to. He smiled brighter "See this small scar on ma cheek, whinebottle, i was 14 years old and angered him" he alughed "Good old times, whil my mom was too in love, too blinded by the amount of coke in her system... but i don't think i need to explain whhat love does to a person huh?
how blinding it can be" he sights as he sat down " i am sorry, shouldn't have brought it up again... but i truely am sorry...i .. i didn't know ..." he sighted looking away from the girl

  Kate looked at him, he got her full attention now.
  He smiled brighter. 'See this small scar on ma cheek, whinebottle, I was 14 years old and angered him,' he laughed.
  Kate did indeed see it and frowned for a moment. She knew how it was to get a clap in the face, but a whinebottle must have been even harder.
  'Good old times, while my mom was too in love, too blinded by the amount of coke in her system... But I don't think I need to explain what love does to a person huh? How blinding it can be,' he sighed as he sat down.
  The girl clenched her jaw and looked away again, taking another drag.
  'I am sorry, shouldn't have brought it up again... But I truely am sorry... I... I didn't now...' he sighed.
  'No,' she replied. 'You didn't.' She looked down at her shoes. 'Nobody did, actually,' she said, looking at him for a moment. 'Only Hannes, I guess...'

  Then he started laughing.
  Kate looked at him with a raised brow.
  'I... I am sorry but...' he continued to laugh. 'Hannes knew? And I didn't? I lost to a fucking German for Christ sake..!'
  Kate smiled softly, but it wasn't a happy smile. 'Well... Hannes knows Clint. He knows how he can be... And you didn't pay attention on any of us, so why would you know hm?' she said, looking away again.

  Nick sighed as he stood up, hands in his pockets. 'Yeh... I have... Personal stuff took take care of now...' he mumbled. 'So... I'm sorry if I ain't there for you,' he mumbled.
  Kate shook her head while sighing. 'It's okay, I understand,' she said while looking at him for a second. 'I'm alright now, I guess. School shouldn't take over your personal life.'

  He nodded. 'Yeh it shouldn't...' Nick said as he walked away. 'See ya monday!'
  'Cya!' she responded before leaning her head against the stone wall, taking a long drag of her cigarette, trying to organize things in her head.
